Q: Qualify to Google Adsense?

Am starting my own website, and i need some help from anyone experienced enough with a couple of questions: - i work in web-site design and am still learning, from the websites that offer templates, i figured if i offered my own designs as templates for free, would that bring traffic, (i.e. is it a good "website" idea?) - To Qualify for Google Adsense (Am planning on putting some hard work in the website, to attract visitors, and hopefully some $$ :) ), what are the criteria, i don't want to put additional efforts if am not going to qualify in the first place.? - And finally, does anyone has an average of how much do you make of the Ads, i know its rather difficult to predict, but i was curios if anyone has an idea. A: To qualify for Google Adsense, all you need is a good content rich website. There isn't really that much criteria. The amount of money you are able to earn from adsense really depends on your adsense optimization and the traffic you receive. It also depends on what keywords you are targeting. Anything around $1 per day for a brand new website will be doing pretty well. About offering your templates for free, it can bring you traffic if you do it properly. So if you have a .txt or .pdf file with the template, which says "visit www.xyz.com for more free templates", then people will start coming to your website. If you allow people to have full giveaway rights to the templates, then you will be able to create a viral effect, and more and more people will start coming to your website, without you spending any money or time.
